Said every disappointed fandom member ever.
13 months today… couldn’t make anything new or special, so I’m just reblogging an old post that is still true to me, because, seriously, I miss Chuck every single day.

But…
But she was.
And she wasn’t marginalized.
And erasing her memories wasn’t all about Chuck. Yes, it was, in part, because he’s the main character, but it was also about how far Sarah had come; that she was different from when we had first met her, and even without her memories, those changes were still present; She tried so hard to be Graham’s Wild Card again, and she just couldn’t do it. Even without her memories, she was too changed.
Not only that, but her memories were seeping back in throughout the finale.
And also, we got so much reaction from Sarah in that final episode; there was so much of her reacting to what was happening, that how could it not be about her?
Yes, it also showed us a lot of Chuck’s growth; it showed us how he had changed, how he was more willing to let go when he knew he needed to.
But I get the feeling that so many people were just not paying any attention to this episode; to the little things, and to the subtleties of what was going on.
Her memory wipe was not a fridging because her memory wipe was more about how far she had come than Chuck’s manpain.
It was also about much bigger things than either Chuck or Sarah; the nature of hope and of love; of what it is to be part of something bigger.
It’s about the fact that even without her memories (which were coming back by the end of the episode), she could still be so much more; have so much more.
So clearly, if you think Sarah Walker was fridged or marginalized or shoved to the side because her memories were gone, then you haven’t been paying attention at all.

Yesterday I was making eleven bucks an hour fixing computers. Now I have one in my brain. And I can’t figure out why Bryce did this. Why he chose me.
